Feet first into fitness
weekend was good, lots of water. friday was my movement day off- sat i raked for hour and half. sunday a good 3 hours and a wheelbarrow load and couple tarp loads over the stone wall.
today i had an egg with slice of ham and cheese, 2 lite sausages (out of my veggie sausage at the store again- bummer).
plan of action for the day is water water water, i will move at the end of the day and will more than likely be combo of weight work and aerobic movement.
two spring weekend days
getting out to rake both days
april showers bring may flowers
sheetrock progress - looks so weird!
g making sheetrock progress though he was feeling crappy
lucan, who was a super dog outside yesterday with lots of spring walkers in the neihgborhood :)
Good exercise this weekend: Saturday I did the 2-mile walk with Leslie (it was raining). Sunday I walked 2 miles in the morning then went to the Y and did my new bone density workout
: warm-up, weights, 15-minutes cardio (5 min. stairs, 10 min elliptical), core & stretching. I was nice and sweaty, so I topped it off with a short swim.
Food was a little better, too. We went out for pizza on Saturday night (beer, too). I cooked brown rice, lentils, sweet potato, kale & salad for dinner last night. One of the weird things about coumadin (which E is taking) is that you have to limit your consumption in vitamin K. Cooked greens are especially high; broccoli and raw spinach are moderate. I've decided that *I* need my greens anyway, so I'll just make a lettuce salad or other veg for E when I make greens for me :).
Today: Took my car into the shop this morning, so E and I didn't get to walk together -- we'll walk this evening instead. I'm thinking about pilates, too, if I have time.
sounds like an excellent weekend all around. exercise and food looks super. bummer for eric about the coumadin. but i'm with you...have your greens anyways and give him stuff that won't peak his vitamin k.
enjoy your walk tonight!
well lunch was a leftover lf enchilada recipe (that everyone LOVES!)- on top of lots of lettuce and tomato. snack was activia yogurt.
water is at about 40 and still working on it.
dinner is going to be leftover roast lamb with brown rice and salad.
exercise was 35 minutes of jumping and jiving to lou bega. a little bit of mambo....
